For the formula feed sold as a commodity, it must first go through a small range of feeding tests and reach a prescribed standard before it can be used in a wide range so as not to cause unnecessary losses to farmers.

2. Raw material selection The quality of the raw material directly affects the quality of pelleted feed. Therefore, it is important to grasp the raw material purchase clearance during production. 1 concentrate feed. Commonly used concentrates for rabbits include corn, barley, sorghum, bran, bean cakes, sunflower cakes, peanut cakes, sesame cakes, and fish meal. The moisture content of the concentrate should not exceed the safe storage of moisture, no mildew, and the impurities should not exceed 2%. 2 roughage. Commonly used roughage for rabbits include corn stalks, bean stalks, cereal straw, peanut pods, cultivated grass, and leaves. The moisture content of the well-dried roughage is 14% to 17%. The leaves are less detached, greenish and aromatic.

3. Raw material crushing All kinds of raw materials must be crushed to be processed into pellet feed. The sieve size of the crusher should be 1 to 1.5 mm. For stocks of roughage, generally sunny noon processing should be selected.

4. Weighing mixed-process pelleted feeds is generally followed by comminution, weighing, and mixing of fines followed by blending with coarse and coarse ratios. Mixing is an important part of the production process of pellet feeds. The purpose is to mix various raw materials with each other. Measures to ensure the quality of mixing include: (1) Pre-mixed trace elements or prophylactic drugs to be added. 2 Control the stirring time. It usually takes 15 minutes to mix. 3 The amount of charge. Each mix is ​​preferably 60% to 80% of the device mixer capacity. 4 Reasonable feeding sequence. Components with large proportions are added first, followed by those with smaller quantities; those with smaller proportions are added first, and those with larger proportions are added later. In addition, for the dry granulator, it is necessary to add a certain amount of moisture when stirring before granulation.

5. Press Forming This process is a process in which the mixture is pressed into pellets by a granulator. The physical properties of the pellets (such as length, diameter, hardness, etc.) are important conditions for the quality of the pellets. It has been reported that the particle size and length of the pellets are a comprehensive assessment of the average daily weight gain, daily feed intake, and feed/feed ratio of weaned New Zealand white rabbits. The particle length should be less than 0.64 cm and a diameter no greater than 0.48 cm. According to our center's experiment, adding 1% to 2% bentonite to the proportion of high roughage diets can improve the surface smoothness and hardness of the pellets.
