1.SKLN Series Counterflow Wood pellet Cooler adopts the convection between air and materials and adopts thecounterflow cooling theory to cool the hot and wet pellets.
2.Cooling air and materials touch with each other, converse and vertically go through the material layer, gradually changing hot air and hot materials touch with each other, through hot exchange, pellets will be gradually cooled, hotair will be abstracted from the Cyclone of fan which is on the top of cooler.
3.It is able to avoid that cooling air and hot material directly touch with each other and prevent that pellets will be cooled so fast that cause the pellets to dehisce.
4.This kind of cooler has the following advantages of high cooling efficiency, high safety, long cooling time, hot exchange completely, easy operation, etc.
5.The temperature of pellets after cooling is less than Room Temperature +3~5°C and the moisture content is less than 12 .5%.
The Working principle of Counterflow Wood pellet Cooler: 1.The working principle of SKLN Counterflow Cooler is that the hot and wet pellets which come from the PelletPress enter into the cooler from the airlock on the top of cooler and through taper type distributor equipment which can make pellets to different top, bottom, left, right and middle parts enter in the cooler.
2.When Cooler starts towork, the pellets will be accumulated gradually. When the position of pellets arrives to Level Detector, the brake motor will be connected to start work.
3.Driving by Reducer and eccentric mechanism,the Discharge Frame move from left to right to discharge the materials.
4.When the relative position between Movement Discharge Frame and Fixed Frame reaches certain extent., the materials will fall down and discharge from the gap between Movement Discharge Frame and Fixed Frame.
5.When the relative position between Movement Discharge Frame and FixFrame are staggered, the materials will not be discharged.
6.The materials will be intermittent discharged during the process of cycled movement. When the quantity of discharge is larger than feed-in, the pellets will reduce and leave the position of Level Sensor, motor will stop work and the discharge will be end.
7.When pellets touch the Level Sensor, the motor will start to work and start a now discharge process which can guarantee the continuous cooling production.Fan is always running during the whole cooling process.
8.The pellets in the cooler flow from top to bottom and the Air flows from bottom to top. The above two flow positions are opposite which can form counterflow cooling.
9.Therefore, this Cooler belongs to counterflow type. The pellets will stay in the cooler for some time, the natural air will enter into the coller from the bottom.
10.It will make heat exchange through the material`s layer in the body of Cooler.
